Concept 2 Rower
Many people fail with endurance based training simply because they get injured from running and are limited to getting outside on a bicycle. There is one piece of equipment that can immediately alleviate that problem!
The Concept 2 Rower is a fantastic cyclical endurance tool that makes aerobic training enjoyable AND challenging. Because the Concept 2 Rower is portable and easy to move around, it fits perfectly in any homeowners corner bedroom or even in their garage. It’s a simple piece of equipment that enables athletes to get work done in a short period of time or even in a longer steady state cardio challenge.
Find benchmark times for varying distances. Ideally, start with 500 meters, 1,000 meters and then 2,500 meters and find those times at each distance. Over the next 6 weeks, focus on 2 days a week doing 500-1,000 meter repeats for interval training and then 2 days a week focus on longer duration training over 25-35 minute timeframes.
This style of training is great for those looking to lose weight and other individuals that may be on a specific time crunch. The Concept 2 Rower can even help athletes if they have lower back or hip mobility issues due to the hip flexion that occurs after each rep. Set those goals and get after the caloric burn!
