Training at the garage is great preparation for collegiate athletics.  As a division 1 field hockey player at Rutgers University in New Jersey the demands of my sport can be taxing on the body.  With the help of Dane’s nutrition advice coupled with appropriate off-season training at Garage Strength, I did not miss a single competition during my athletic career.  As a competitive athlete it is important to train at the highest intensity possible in order to mimic the speed of competition.  At the Garage, I learned to train at my max heart rate and focus on fast recovery which has a great correlation to Olympic sports like field hockey, soccer and wrestling as well as other sports such as football and basketball.  As a female athlete, I was interested in optimal performance but I wanted to avoid injuries from logging 20+ miles per week or heavy weightlifting at low repetitions.  Dane provided sport specific training advice without over training.  He has completely transformed my ideas about how to prepare for the season and maintain peak performance.” - Caitlin Browne, Garage Strength Division 1 Athlete, 3 Time Rutgers Field Hockey Captain
