Cues during a work out need to be actively thought about and executed properly. A midset technical correction will also help heavy singles. It will transfer over because you will be more technically proficient from the corrections.

The ability to make a midset correction will directly transfer over for competition time. When warming up in competition, if a lift is missed in the warm-ups you will be better prepared to make that fix. This will also prevent a lot of stress brought on from missing an attempt.
