    We recommend that athletes train at least 3 times per week to achieve maximum benefit from elite level training. In season athletes should train 1-2 times per week in addition to their sport specific practices. Is this overtraining? Elite level athletes train about 12 practices per week regardless of sport. As long as there is an open dialogue with GS trainers concerning what types of strain the athlete's body is taking outside of the Garage, trainers will ensure the athlete is pushed to their limits without risking injury.
