Factory Farmed Chickens Contaminated

Tuesday, December 1st, 2009

Recently, a group investigated the levels of health contained in factory farmed chickens.  Out of the 382 chickens tested, 2/3’s of those chickens were contaminated with salmonella or campylobacter.  This is not overly surprising.  These chickens live horrible lives, are fed terrible food rations, never see the light of day and are butchered in highly contaminated butcher shops.

Here is the link on the contaminated broiler chickens.

This is yet another reason to support sound agriculture and consume pasture raised animals.  Pasture raised animals live healthy lives, consume part of their wild dietary needs while exercising and living outside in the open air.  These animals live lives that are safe and healthy while providing the utmost nutrition for their consumers.  Support local agriculture and avoid harmful bacteria.
