Happy Halloween!!!

Friday, October 31st, 2008

Happy Halloween, everyone!!  Try and avoid eating as much candy as possible.  Haha, I miss the days when I used to stuff my face with candy.  Anyway, I have renovated the gym as of late.  I have added a platform, new squat rack, another incline bench, a new load of DB’s, two kegs and a handful of ropes.  I just started a new training program yesterday, so needless to say I am a bit sore and fatigued as my body fights to adapt.  Currently, I am in the process of purchasing a real sled, thicker ropes and another med ball.

News:  Next week I am presenting a lecture/training session at a health seminar.  Hope things go well.  If you want to stop by for a free introductory training session, come see the new look.

New Food Article

Tuesday, October 21st, 2008

Today I posted a new part of the Real and Raw Food series.  This portion focuses on quinoa and its healthy attributes.  If anyone has any questions, please send me an email.  As I state in the article, I think this is one of the best things to eat following an intense workout.

T-Nation Shout

Thursday, October 16th, 2008

I have been in contact with Dan John over the past few months, sharing information and learning from his past experiences.  The man is a wiz in the strength world and still competes at an extremely high level.  Recently, I spent some time doing a few readings and then noticed that he posted a new article on T-Nation.  I got pretty excited and was reading through the article when I saw Dan quoted none other than…..ME!!!  Hahaha, I know this is a bit unprofessional for me to be writing this but it is excitign to see that I am making some headway in the strength world.  I am hoping my hard work keeps paying off and I can keep providing some solid insight into the strength world.  Here is the link for the article.

Raw Milk

Monday, October 6th, 2008

I just added a new article to the website last week.  This article dealt with raw milk, the misconceptions and the great attributes found in raw milk.  There was a unique coincidence that this past Saturday, the local newspaper published a mediocre article on raw milk.  Misrepresenting it a little bit, it was still nice to see the word getting out into the public.  It was also refreshing to see that there are numerous other individuals purchasing raw milk in the county.  I believe there are 5 raw milk providers in the county at this point, a very good number and hopefully that continues to increase.  Here is the newspaper article
